Extra Information Possibly dedicated to Joseph Hellmesberger Jr. (who in 1890- 4 years after this work's first publication- became the Hofcapellmeister referred to in the dedication. Perhaps the dedication was added in a later printing? Hellmesberger Sr. was concertmaster but not "Hofcapellmeister".) Published according to Poland's NUCAT with Caro's quartet Op.6 in B (natural) major as "Zwei Quartette" by Bösendorfer (Rudolf Bussjäger), both dedicated to Hellmesberger.
