interesting finale -- begins with just two bars of maestoso G minor followed by a G major Prestissimo, a modulatory development and an extended, prestissimo then calando G minor coda.

Performed perhaps sometime between May and July 1921, in Wiesbaden (see NZM Jg.88 Nr.13, 1 Juli 1921, p.347) and perhaps even earlier. (Some concert reports in the same section date from May '21.)
