There may be a MIDI file of this work somewhere in my collection, but never any actual performance. Several movements were probably intended. "Op.2" was not written on the score, but I believe that after a brief 4-movement work for solo viola I wrote in 1987 (and revised awhile later)*, this _may_ be my 2nd (... serious-ish? attempt at a ...) work, even if only one movement was finished (or maybe not; there was also an attempt at a trio for viola, horn and piano and a few brief assignments for Music Theory through Performance and Composition (taken 2 semesters, 1987-88?) :) though the viola sonata movement final project for the class was probably not begun until later in 1988.
*And whose copied-out manuscript I found in my notes just a few days back (with revised later-in-1987 finale...) so I might as well typeset that too, soon (8-28-14)
Looking that earlier/st piece over, on consideration - no. Even this quintet movement, while lacking in articulation and all other rudiments, is ... hrm. ..erm. Maybe slightly less painfully naïve than that was; it would take work...
