several sections either deliberately and daringly (opinion, admittedly) unharmonized melody (without obviously being recitative?...), or would need filling-out by an editor before performance. Sketches, which are in a collection of "17 musikstücke" at the Berlin State Library, seem to be more or less "in one line" done from beginning to end but not fully orchestrated, that is... - Schissel
(Note: Neither the overture nor the 17 musikstücke collection seems to have been published, though if there is a sufficiently complete Hiller complete edition in progress (or completed?) then I am mistaken on this point.) (Thought there was a template for (apparently) "Unfinished Work" (as opposed to Incomplete score/parts of complete work) but apparently not...)
