Authorship Note Though Grove Music lists this in Scarlatti's work list, it considers it "doubtful". Though one of the manuscripts here is attributed to Giovanni Bononcini, Grove Music does not list it in his work list, although there are other cantatas there attributed to him that are considered to be by others. RISM has two entries, one for each of these composers, but neither cross-references the other. |
