The 2nd trombone sonata is a modern-classical (i.e. neo-romantic) sonata, which consists of three movements. The 1st movement is solemn, passionate and moderately fast and in sonata form, the 2nd movement is a gracious intermezzo in Lied form, with a powerful middle section, the 3rd and final movement is a moderately fast and passionate piece in sonata form. Digital performance made in Sibelius 5 with Garritan Personal Orchestra. Videos with the scrolling score and play along videos (with just the accompaniment) are on my YouTube-channel.
