Chorus, I should imagine, for the munchkins at least?...
I seem to recall that several of Baum's 15? 16? Oz books were staged and that at least one was written with a view to stage production (rather than this being a happy eventuality). (This is of course a production of the first book though changed in several details- though not as much so as the best-known movie, which just for example condenses the four witches into three.) - Schissel (Should L. Frank or, given our preference not to use abbreviations, Lyman Frank Baum be used, re librettist?)
