It is highly doubtful that this work was composed by the same Louis Bödecker (1845-1899) who wrote the other works under this name.
- Was going to upload some of the other works the LoC has under Bödecker but they're more like this than the other works we have, so must ask - whyso? ( - Schissel)
- I don't know if it's highly doubtful. And LoC isn't the only source that lists a number of works by a Louis Bödecker that are in more of a light dance for piano style than the more serious works that are listed in Hofmeister. Viz Worldcat... - Schissel (forgetting that I'm responding to myself) There is another version of this score at Johns Hopkins. (1863 is a date that appears at the top right of the cover page, though it is not necessarily the date of the work. It does predate his, or the other Bödecker's, opus 1 by some years, though.
