Violins I & II begin the Finale with the lowest string tuned (scordatura) to F, but tune up to G in the course of the music to create a comical effect. Parts first issued with symphony no.66 and "I:C8" - actually a symphony in C by Vaclav Pichl - in 1783 by Guera - if not earlier.
