A performance given during the 1879-1880 season of Bazzini's first quartets (in C, D minor "and mi bemolle" - E minor- a typo for this one, almost undoubtedly, unless an E minor quartet by Bazzini awaits discovery) is mentioned on p.33 of "Annuario scolastico del Liceo musicale Rossini" (1879/80).
