Misc. Notes It is unclear if this piece was composed 2001 by Frank Zintl or if it is simply a traditional Swedish folk music tune. In the latter case the arrangement for 2 violins and viola (alto) is made by Frank Zintl. This MIDI has been recorded with the artificial voice of a string orchestra for better sound. For free use.

Misc. Notes I made the melody after a trip to Scotland in my young years in 1975, but now in 2024 after 39 years I made up my mind to write it down for publication.

Misc. Notes The author made this little piece already in 1976 on the Norwegian mountain area Liflenn in Telemark. This explains the name. The tune is made for the traditional Norwegian dulcimer, the 'Langeleik'. The instrument is related to the Appalachian dulcimer but played in adufferent style. Two versions are presented. The first is playable on a standard type langeleik, the second would require a special version of instrument.
