Notes to Da Capo 8.226119 claim composed 1890, published 1898 and premiered 1900. One wonders perhaps if at some point it was at least privately performed by Aulin (violin) and Stenhammar (piano) (was Lange-Muller a cellist?) (or perhaps Aulin performed Lange-Muller's violin concerto in C - still unpublished !? - and the dedication has to do with that? But that may have been a later work.)
