Publication date confirmed in Cecil Hill, Ferdinand Ries: A Thematic Catalogue. 1813 Kühnel edition mentioned in AMZ but has not been located; the 1817 Clementi edition is the earliest still-existing print.
On a 2007 Naxos CD performed by Susan Kagan (Piano Sonatas and Sonatinas, Vol.1) which describes it as a sonatina (perhaps just due to its size, however.)
