A performance in February 1900 with Henri Falcke at the piano and the composer conducting is mentioned in the March 3 issue of that year's Revue politique et littéraire: revue bleue (p.284). A performance probably in late 1899 in Les Concerts Lamoureux, dedicatee as pianist, is mentioned in the 14 January 1900 issue of Le Ménestrel, page 13, so late 1899 seems a more likely date for the premiere- if not earlier!
