The cello part is notated in the treble clef; the fairly narrow range makes it suitable for any C instrument such as oboe or recorder. No. 4 would make good transposition practice for Bfl clarinet. Items 1 and 2 were published by Boehme of Hamburg. No.6 was added in 1871 Monatsbericht (1871), p.186
