  • Of the original instrumentations for the purely instrumental pieces, the Méhul is known but the two by Catel are not. Of Catel, Grove Music says "Between 1792 and 1797 he composed many Revolutionary hymns, marches and military symphonies, and during the late 1790s wrote chamber music". They are tagged as for wind band for now, but can be changed to arrangements if the original turns out to be orchestra. Unfortunately, he was not a sufficiently significant composer for Grove to give a full works list.
