History
Melantrich of Prague (see Wikipedia) was a major general publisher between 1920 and 1939. It published large-circulation newspapers and books. From 1936 to 1949 it co-operated with Pazdírek to publish music scores.
As for composers, Bohuslav Martinů (1890—1959) was a major figure in the catalog.
