Extra Information	This setting of the Song of Mary was composed for the "Music Award for Choral Music" presented by edition49 and Musikwerkstatt Siegburg, where it was awarded a shared third place. The setting combines rhythmically free declamation with polyphony and word painting to interpret the text. Compared to other Magnificat settings, the word painting is minimalist and at times quite subtle.
