A 'Varsovienne' or 'Varsoviana' is a dance in 3/4, according to Grove, a kind of genteel mazurka. In a different article in Grove, this one about an Azerbaijani opera entitled 'Sevil', a 'varsovienne' is "the revolutionary song Smelo tovarishchi (‘Bravely Comrade’)". But since the music of Goldbeck's piece is in 3/4, and is marked Allegretto, the first definition is undoubtedly the correct one for this piece.
