Kreitner was a publisher in Worms, Germany, an ancient city on the middle Rhine, famous for the Nibelungen legend and for Luther's Diet (Parliament) there in 1521.
This publisher operated from ca.1800, but was bought by Heckel of nearby Mannheim in 1823. It published works by Wilms, Kreitner, Linse, Gyrowetz, Pleyel and Mozart.
