This composition is based on a sketch for the Armenian play Il Bambolotto di Legno (2009-11, in 2 variants) by N. Hovhannisyan. The instrumentation here is based on the characters in the play: the Violin for the Girl (aged 15, probably the author herself), and the Harpsichord for the imaginary Bambolotto di Legno (aged 13, severely crippled). This composition is currently being completed: the subjects for each movement are half-cryptograms, generated from some sentences (from the play).
