History
Founded by Irish composer, music seller and publisher George Alexander Hodson. Active in Dublin c.1827-1831, he moved to London c.1835, where he also published under the name The Bedford Musical Repository. The Dublin premises were subsequently occupied by McCullagh & McCullagh. Around 1844 Hodson joined Robert Addison, trading as Addison & Hodson c.1844-1848.
