Vinzenz Matthias Hladky Senior (1875 - 1942) ran a zither school in Vienna and published works for plucked string instruments from about 1900. He was president of the Viennese Mandolin club (Wiener Mandolinenverein) in the 1920s. Heinrichshofen's Verlag bought Edition Vinzenz Hladky in 1969.
Vinzenz Matthias Hladky Junior (1900-1979,) a cellist and mandolinist, also taught the mandolin.
