This is a bagatella with a waltz character. Therefore, although the title includes the word "Waltz", the piece actually counts among the composer's bagatellas and not his waltzes.
Footnote on page 2 translates: a) This piece initially had a different ending starting from this point. However, upon my father's drawing my attention to the fact that it was too pompous an ending for a bagatella, I changed it with a more modest one on Sunday, Feb. 4, 1990.
