  • Originally uploaded as an arrangement of a piano piece, this might not be an arrangement after all. The only WorldCat entry for it is Frolic of the clowns : burlesque dance (for the D and G strings), published Carl Fisher, 1930. The uploader says "The Japanese text says arranged . . . In the other volumes no arrangers are named other than the original ones such as Hermann and Flesch, and it seems that the only contribution of the editor is a commentary in the appendix to the volume." Accordingly, this is changed to violin/piano as an original instrumentation, which can be corrected if some future upload of an original edition shows a different instrumentation.
  • Since the Fisher 1930 edition pre-dates the Kadoba edition, the title has been changed to the 1930 version.
