| Extra Information | The Sperger manuscript uses Viennese tuning, raised a semitone to E♭ major: Thus the solo double bass is written in D major and sounds a semitone higher than usual. In the Tischer-Zeitz edition, the orchestra plays in E major, and the bass is notated in D major. The Schott edition parts appear to be out of print. |
