The 2nd cello sonata is neo-romantic. The 1st movement is in AB form, is moderately fast, and consists of a prelude and a fugue. The 2nd movement is also in AB form, is slow, and consists of an air and a choral. The final movement is fast and in rondo form. The revision of 2015 improved the playability of the piece. The digital performance is based on a recording (of an earlier version) in Sibelius 4 with Kontakt Player Gold. Videos with the score moving and play along videos are on my YouTube-channel.
