I wrote these 4 pieces in 2004 for Angela Heetveld, who lent me one of her Celli for my first true encounter with this instrument. This led to me taking Cello lessons, I thought for a few months, just to learn the basics and specific characteristics of the instrument. But I fell in love with the instrument and I am still learning. In 2020 I made a critical revision of the four parts of these CExplorations of the Cello in collaboration with my Celloteacher, Anton Satijn
