Performance of "A Cavatina in A" in a concert of Praeger's compositions mentioned/reviewed in the July 18 1885 Musical Standard. (Also: a violin sonata, string quartets 20(?) and 4, songs including Im mai and Wenn ich im deinen... Suggesting that unless those works are ambiguous, they can be dated by-1885. A successful performance in the same year of his Manfred is mentioned.
