- Difficult to find any information on this popular but apparently short-lived composer. His residence was usually given as St. Albans; a dedication on one of his tunes states that his father (unnamed) died in September 1829 in Stradbroke, Suffolk; there also appears to be a connection with a Rev. James White of Lowestoft.
