barring a "minor miracle", exact date of death may be unobtainable. Lost at sea with the ship Austria in a fire, 13 September 1858, aged 45. Unless discovered to have survived this and died later, or to have died on the date of the disaster whose date can be determined, that's as close as can be gotten, I think.
