This firm was founded in 1915 in Dublin, Ireland, by the composer Michele Esposito (1855-1929) and Sir Stanley Cochrane, a wealthy soft-drink manufacturer (whose business is known today as the C&C Group). It published many of Esposito's later compositions, such as his Irish Suite and Violin Sonata No.3, and many works of Hamilton Harty . It was taken over by Universal in 1935.
