Extra Information	The composition was written in Tapiola, Käkisalmi, in June 1896. Melartin sent the manuscript to his fellow student Selim Palmgren, who in his letter of July 24, 1896, thanked him for sending it and then thoroughly evaluated the work both as a colleague and as a pianist.
