History
This short-lived but cosmopolitan company functioned in Berlin from 1898 until about 1930. It published works by many contemporary composers, such as Edgar Stillman Kelley, Frederick Ayres, Ludomir Różycki, Karol Szymanowski, Hermann Grädener, and Robert Kahn. It co-operated with Schirmer of New York and Gebethner and Wolff of Warsaw. From 1905 to 1912, it also co-operated with Spółka Nakładowa.

Approximate dates should be in a standard format, say italics. Most plates appear to have A. #### S. format, though some plates may use a bare number (####). However, it is possible that some of the plates with a bare number were from Spółka Nakładowa, especially if published within the 1905–1912 time period and if the work was by a Polish composer. Using that criteria, in the table below, plates 9, 31, and 43 might have been from Spółka Nakładowa.
