According to Otto Erich Deutsch, these 12 Minuets were published in Vienna in 1791 by Artaria & Co. under the title : XII Minuetti per due Violini e Basso del Sgr. W.A.Mozart/in Vienna e Magonza presso Artaria Comp. with plate number 362. They comprised the 6 Minuets K.599, the 4 Minuets K.601 and the 2 Minuets K.604 (composed on the 23rd Jan., the 5th and 12th Feb. 1791 respectively and were issued both for piano and for the then popular ensemble of 2 Violins & Bass.
