Misc. Notes A sonata for flute and piano based on op. 76 no. 6 was published in the early 1800s. Haydn's participation in this project was doubtful. This new arrangement drawn from the original string quartet includes the Minuet and Trio which were omitted from the earlier arrangement, and also makes use of capabilities of the modern flute which far exceed the instruments of that period.
