According to the worklist on Wikipedia, Helsted composed 5 string quartets of which this is the last - two unnumbered quartets (one early, and this late quartet) bookending three numbered quartets.
DKB describes this as his quartet no.4 in their catalog, and gives "quartet no.5" to his quartet in F major, op.24.
Edition S gives 1920 for composition date. The description of the new CD recording (DaCapo 8.226111, June 2016, Decet and String Quartet in F minor) gives ca.1917 (which apparently is the date on the manuscript; it is of course conceivable that it underwent later revisions). (The latter recording takes 27 minutes despite a rather briefer first movement- perhaps lacking first movement repeat?.)
Helsted's other quartets may have been published only posthumously if at all?? Opp.19 in C minor and the B minor have been published recently (ca.2001) by Edition Karpen, Copenhagen.
