Navigation etc.

In terms of solo instruments, there is a lot of variation in how this concerto is designated. Grove Music puts a semicolon after the oboes, i.e. "3 tpt, 2 ob; timp, str", thereby designating trumpets and oboes as the solo instruments. Some recordings merely refer to this work as a "concerto grosso". In looking at the score, the oboes certainly do not have a background role. Tagged for all possibilities.
